A company near Leeds is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer with expertise in variable speed drives, HMI systems, and process automation to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a key part in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, driving profitable sales by assisting existing customers, providing quotations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Manage customer queries regarding invoices, orders, or stock levels
  • Proactively target and develop new customers into active trading accounts
  • Utilize digital channels to enhance the customer experience through promoting the webshop and other digital offerings
  • Collaborate with customers, colleagues, and suppliers on promotions, sales events, and new product launches
  • Utilize IT systems such as Workspace, Power BI, and Microsoft Office to enhance customer interactions

To be successful in this Internal Sales role, candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in Internal Sales
  • A track record in a sales or target-driven environment
  • Knowledge of drives, process instrumentation, and control systems (HMI/PLC systems)
  • A proactive mindset and customer-centric approach
  • Demonstrated proactive sales skills across phone, face-to-face, and online platforms
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive under pressure
