What you will be doing?

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Confident in communicating with key project contacts. E.g. Quantity surveyors, Project Managers
  • Hitting individual, and departmental KPI's
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries
  • Working the shared accounts mailboxes
  • Chasing invoices in line with the relevant timeline
  • Escalating bad debts to management once all avenues have been exhausted
  • Issuing legal notices where appropriate
  • Daily bank reconciliations, and cash allocations
  • Carrying out credit checks when required
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve invoice queries
  • Helping the rest of the team as required

What you will need:

  • Proven credit control experience
  • Confident, and professional manner on the telephone.
  • Diligent with good attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with strong / difficult clients.
  • Good team player, offering help to colleagues in other areas of the business when workload dictates.
  • Capable of working independently, and proactively.
  • Excellent IT skills, good knowledge of Excel.
  • Sage 200 experience (desirable).
  • Good problemsolving skills/using own initiative.
