Responsibilities of the Bridging Underwriter:

  • Underwrite Bridging loans from enquiry and offer through to completion
  • Seek guidance from Senior Team members and Credit Manager
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department, client, Solicitors, and Brokers
  • Continuous improvement of working methods
  • Support team with workload and holiday cover as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and system information
  • Ensure best practice on Bridging loan completions
  • Stay updated on legal and industry changes for professional development
  • Manage broker relationships and produce necessary documentation
  • Attend training sessions and review valuations
  • Meet individual KPIs and departmental targets with a positive attitude
