At British Gypsum we are looking for a customer focused individual to join us as a Customer Service Advisor. In this role, you will be a customer service professional, passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What you will be doing:


Our sites are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.


  • Respond to customer enquiries, process orders and contact customers across multiple businesses using a variety of communication methods
  • Mastering more specialist services
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities and generating ideas to improve our service
  • Gather customer insight through the strong relationships you build to trigger business improvements
  • Show a desire and commitment to develop your own skills and knowledge to perform at your best
  • Mastering more specialist activities including managing export orders, dealing with bespoke orders, account management, customer care, and supporting our Plasterboard Recycling Scheme
