Cylindrical Grinder

Hourly Rate:
£14.50 p/h

Job Type:

Full-timeWe are looking for a skilled Cylindrical Grinder to join a leading rubber roller manufacturer serving the printing and food manufacturing industries.

The successful candidate will be involved in general engineering and workshop duties within a small to medium-sized enterprise, contributing to the production of high-quality rollers.


Day to Day of the role:
Operating grinding machinery and lathes to craft and repair rubber rollers.
Performing general workshop and engineering operations.
Working collaboratively with the team to enhance processes and ensure product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with grinding, milling, and turning machinery.

Interest and ability to work with various materials such as PVC, Nitrile, Silicone, Fluorocarbon, Polyurethane, Natural rubber, Neoprene, EPDM, or Hypalon.

Capable of working to tolerance finish to give either a plain or profiled surface.
Enthusiastic about working in a workshop environment and contributing to a team.
