Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle is in search of a Food & Beverage Assistant to join the professional team. The role is based at a beautifully restored Castle, offering exceptional 5-star experiences for guests.About Us: Thornbury Castle Hotel, located on 15 acres of stunning land, is the sole Tudor Castle functioning as a hotel in England. Recently completing a multi-million pound refurbishment program, the Castle has restored its regal grandeur. Situated just a 20-minute drive from Bristol, the hotel features 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and unique meeting spaces. Operating 7 days a week, the establishment serves breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, and Sunday lunch, alongside hosting weddings and functions.Our aim is to provide refined and personalized hospitality, creating a royal experience for all guests.Job Description:
  • Hourly wage of £11.92 based on experience
  • Part-time permanent role averaging 24 hours per week, including evening shifts and weekends
  • 8-hour shifts between 7am and 11pm
  • Responsibilities include guest interaction, order taking, food and drink service, menu guidance, allergy management, and ensuring health and safety standards
  • Setting up dining areas, processing charges, and payments
  • Effective communication with colleagues and managers
  • Handling guest queries and complaints professionally
