Job Description

The position of a Registered Manager at Home Group in Maryport, Cumbria, is waiting for you. We are looking for someone to oversee our CQC registered service for adults with learning disabilities, providing them with round-the-clock care and support. In this role, you'll lead a new team, fostering their growth and development.

About the Role:

  • Recruit and manage a team of support workers
  • Work alongside an Occupational Therapist to assess and develop care plans
  • Set expectations for high-quality care and collaborate with professionals and families

About You:

  • Hold or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
  • Prior experience in Registered Manager roles, preferably in learning disabilities services
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies, especially the Mental Capacity Act
  • Skilled in partnership working with strong communication and reflective practices
  • Drive a culture of transparency, support, and challenge at all levels

Job Details:

  • Core hours Monday-Friday with flexibility for events
  • Participate in an on-call rota with other Registered Managers
  • Travel required, driving license and car insurance essential
  • Enhanced Disclosure Check required
