As a Client Care Supervisor for Right at Home Preston & South Ribble you will play an integral part in managing the daily communications between your team or care assistants and care co-ordinators.

You must be extremely personable as you will be working with the entire team to make sure all our valued Clients needs are met.

This role is extremely fast paced and requires someone truly dedicated and able to remain positive and professional when working under pressure.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Undertake new client assessments, complete and update care plans and risk assessments.
  • Maintain ongoing service user compliance, by undertaking care plan and risk assessment reviews.
  • Carry out introductions every time a care assistant is matched to a client for the first time.
  • Building relationships with the residents and families and other healthcare professionals to ensure we deliver personalised care.
  • Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered.
  • Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of "Good" in CQC inspections.
  • Monitor and assess all clients for customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure complaints and Care Assistant feedback and enquiries are logged promptly and accurately using the correct procedure.
  • Ensure the recording of all necessary information clearly and legibly in line with record keeping policies and procedures.
  • To liaise with the Registered Manager and Care Coordinators to effectively plan.
  • To ensure that all quality assurance aspects of the office are carried out, monitored, recorded and reported to the Registered Manager.
  • To have an awareness and appreciation of the commercial aspects of business and ability to see the bigger picture and promote positive thinking and change management to the team.
  • Ensure the provision of highquality care services to vulnerable people living in their own home.
  • Take a turn on a rota basis to manage the office oncall telephone support service.
  • You will required to do deliver some care to our clients as required by the business.
We cover Preston and South Ribble area.


You will be required to work 37.5 hrs a week, primarily Office based, when not carrying out Client Assessments, with some flexibility to cover calls the odd weekend.


Requirements of a Client Care Supervisors:

  • You must hold a valid driving licence and access to a reliable car
  • Essential.
  • Experience of working in a senior role within the care sector
  • Essential.
  • Experience of writing and auditing care plans, risk assessments and MARs including E-MARs
  • Essential.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care
  • Preferred.
  • Experience of People Planner and ACP
  • Preferred
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge.
  • Selfmotivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an oncall system for out of office hours.
  • Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships. Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads.
.Be able to Work as part of the On Call Team - On Call and any Additional Care Calls are Paid Separately.
