Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs.
  • Processing purchase orders and help manage inventory levels.
  • Help coordinate supplier orders in line with daily production schedule
  • Schedule deliveries with suppliers based in Ireland, the UK and overseas.
  • Maintain organised and uptodate record keeping using the company computer system.
  • Follow up on all purchase orders, including upcoming deliveries and supplier returns as well as overdue orders.
  • Help prepare O&M Manuals for each construction project.
  • Support with maintaining ISO certification, ensuring all relevant data is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide general administrative support, including coordinating meetings and events as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience working in a materials department in a support role.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and stock control principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills coupled with an ability to function in a busy environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A background in manufacturing or construction would be an advantage but not essential.
