This job is based in Liverpool and you may need to travel to other stores when required.

Responsibilities and Duties as a Store Assistant

  • Greeting customers and dealing with them in a timely and polite manner
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
  • Contribute towards store sales and KPI targets, as well as individual performance targets
  • Assist with Stock control
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
  • Stocking shelves with merchandise.
  • Answering queries from customers and dealing with customer complaints.
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean
  • Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands
  • Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
  • Work well in a team but able to use your own initiative when and where required for the smooth running of the shop floor
  • Ad hoc duties
