We are seeking an Automotive Service Advisor
Company: Autotech Recruit is currently looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our client permanently at their Brighton site. Our client is a well-known car dealer group in the South East offering a wide range of new and used vehicles at various locations across Sussex and Kent. They are committed to providing top-notch service to their customers and offering unbeatable servicing deals at their authorized service centers.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a crucial role as the main point of contact for customers from the first meeting to the completion of the vehicle service. You will be responsible for communicating with customers about the required work on their vehicles and keeping them updated on the progress.
To excel in this role, you should be adept at addressing any issues professionally, managing customer expectations effectively. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in a service advisor or similar customer-facing role. Familiarity with Kerridge and Pinnacle systems (or similar) is advantageous. A Full UK driving license and access to your vehicle are also necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dealing with customers in a professional, timely, and friendly manner, creating a positive impression of the Vehicle Service Department.
- Handling vehicle check-ins, arranging loan vehicles, and updating the dealer management system with work details.
- Monitoring job progress, communicating with customers throughout the service, and offering technical advice.
- Demonstrating the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Emphasizing customer service, maintaining relationships, and effective communication.
- Informing customers about available products and services, including service plans and warranties.
Details:
- Salary: Up to £28,000 per year (based on experience) £36k OTE.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 6 pm.
- Rotational Saturdays: 1 in 4, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
