Working Style:Hybrid (home and office based)
Responsible for the delivery of creating and maintaining a positive and engaging work environment that supports the well-being and satisfaction of colleagues across DCS.
Working closely with various teams to design and implement initiatives that enhance engagement and promote a strong company culture which drives productivity.
The Colleague Experience role partners with the whole of DCS to create a positive, engaging, and supportive work environment that also attracts and retains talented colleagues, fosters their growth and development, and contributes to the overall success of DCS.
What you will be doing
- Support in the development of a comprehensive colleague engagement strategy which is aligned with goals and values.
- Nurture and promote DCS's culture and values through various initiatives, programmes, and activities.
- Design and conduct colleague engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms to gather insights and identify areas for improvement in the colleague experience.
- Support the People Team with onboarding and offboarding programmes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires and departing colleagues.
- Support in the creation of colleague recognition and rewards programmes to acknowledge and appreciate colleagues' contributions and achievements.
- Implement initiatives that promote colleague wellness, worklife balance, and a healthy workplace culture.
- Raise the profile and awareness of the importance of colleague engagement and experience across the business, including creating and managing communication plans and campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to keep colleagues informed, engaged, and aligned with DCS's goals.
- Plan and coordinate colleague events, activities, and team building activities exercise to foster a sense of community.
- Establish and maintain processes for colleague to provide feedback.
- Stay up to date with policies and practices, to ensure the business is compliant and up to date.
- Track and analyse key colleague experience metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and make datadriven decisions for improvement.
Qualifications:
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role which includes some colleague experience/engagement initiatives.
- Exposure to collecting and analysing data to drive insights and measure impacts.
- Experience of working with good degree of autonomy and be comfortable working at pace
- Experience or interest in working in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Able to initiate action, to influence others and challenge as appropriate.
- Strong data skills, ability to provide insights from data, which will drive our culture forward
- Curiosity, and a growth mindset
