About the role:

What you'll do:

  • Build a pipeline of opportunities across an allocated portfolio of brands that sell on eCommerce sites like Amazon, Argos, Tesco, etc. across the EMEA region
  • Deliver against quarterly sales targets by closing contracts with deal size ranging from£150k to £1m+ multi country contracts
  • Develop a high level of expertise of Profitero's industry, product offerings, competitive landscape and understanding of associated technologies and how they solve customer's business issues
  • Profile and research target accounts in assigned territories utilizing methods and tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, Outreach and others
  • Work closely with our Business Development Reps and Marketing team to effectively manage inbound opportunities
  • Arrange conference and online calls, product demos and facetoface meetings (when able) to demonstrate solution benefits & capabilities to key decision makers with Solutions Consultants
  • Negotiate price of contracts and closing deals
  • Develop Land & Expand strategies for key strategic deals

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of direct sales experience with proven track record of exceeding targets
  • You are able to effectively engage with prospects at all levels up to board
  • You have excellent consultative sales skills, with a clear focus on building an understanding of client needs
  • You have strong negotiation skills with great commercial acumen
  • You speak and write English fluently
  • You have strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively engage with prospective clients
  • You have highly developed networking skills
  • You have solid account qualification skills; you have a selfstarter approach to researching target accounts and gathering contacts
  • You have a strong revenue forecasting ability
  • You have a positive and enthusiastic outlook toward the attainment of sales and marketing goals
  • You have a focused drive to exceed expectations

What you're good at:

  • Communication (written and oral) with active listening skills
  • Presenting and multitasking
  • Organization and multitasking you are able to prioritize and manage workflow

Bonus points for:

  • Previous experience selling tech solutions to brands & manufacturers in the eCommerce or marketing space
  • You have an understanding of and contacts within the FMCG or CPG sector
  • You have experience working with Salesforce CRM and Outreach
  • You can speak more than one language fluently
  • Experience with Sandler, Challenger or similar sales training
