Level Up is looking for a 3D Game Artist with over 3 years of relevant work experience to work on a multiplayer battle Royale game based over here in Dubai.

Position: 3D Game Artist

Location: Dubai, UAE (Onsite)

We're seeking a talented 3D Game Artist to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for creating lifelike art and love seeing your work come to life in games, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating game-ready characters and assets for both playable and non-playable characters: highly detailed and photorealistic, including heads, hair, and clothing ‍
  • Ensuring that characters are of the highest quality and follow proper industry standards, including efficient topology and UVs
  • Following the project's artistic direction set by the Art Lead
  • Collaborating with other departments such as Animation/Rigging and Game Design to ensure characters fit within the title's vision
  • Prioritizing and managing day-to-day tasks to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and with production constraints

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience using DCC software such as Maya, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, etc.
  • Understanding of the human form/anatomy and a strong sense of 3D space ‍
  • Independently responsible for the complete model production (high-poly, low-poly) of characters and some scenes, UV decomposition, texture drawing, rendering, 3D lighting application, and the use of various rendering plug-ins
  • Understanding of PBR workflows and experience in texturing software such as Substance Painter
  • Good understanding of workflows related to 3D art asset production
  • Strong visual and technical skills in sculpting, retopology, and texturing, and creating game-ready characters ‍
  • A portfolio showcasing a variety of character/humanoid artwork, including organic and hard surfaces
  • Clear understanding of Unreal Engine features: environment creation, lighting, and effects
