They are now seeking an Associate Director to join their Project Management and help support by growing their own team within the Oxford area.

The Role

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all services relating to project management within Oxford.
Main purpose of the role;

  1. To lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring good communication and adherence to governance processes.
  2. To understand, anticipate, inform and deliver great outcomes for their clients, every time, everywhere.
  3. To drive exceptional delivery, health & safety, commercial, risk management and quality performance on infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. To develop a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Manager with a strong pipeline of work.

Key accountabilities;

Project management discipline, to include:

  1. Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
  2. Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
  3. Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a consultancy or developer environment and demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.
Essential experience includes;

  1. Construction related degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role gained within a consultancy or developer.
  2. Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
