Duties:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children.

Skills:

Upsadaisy Nursery & Pre School are looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team. For this role you will need to have a Full and Relevant Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Qualification.

We are rated Good by Ofsted and have a warm, friendly, home from home feel within the setting where children are supported by a caring and professional team of childcare practitioners.


We can be flexible with the amount of contracted hours available and offer between 2 and 5 days per week.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
  • Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

Requirements and skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 / Level 3 childcare qualification essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English essential
  • Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements desirable

Experience:

  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level2/Level3 Early Years Childcare Qualification (required)
