We are currently on the lookout for a Junior Buyer to join our client's team in Sunderland. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in procurement.



Duties:
- Responsible for sourcing and ordering materials and components for production
- Collaborate with the procurement team
- Utilize systems like ERP and MRP to monitor order status, generate reports, and track inventory
- Maintain accurate records

Hours and Compensation:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday with a half day on Friday
- Day shift schedule
- Salary ranging from £26,000 to £29,000, based on experience

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of supply chains
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with suppliers and internal teams
