Freelance Knitwear Designer

A new opportunity has arisen for a freelance knitwear designer to join a Leicester based supplier on a temporary basis.

This role is supporting on a project, will last for about a month and will require working at least 3 days per week in their office.

Suitable candidates must be immediately available and not on a notice period.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing trend research and developing ideas for the collection
  • Creating CADs and detailed tech packs
  • Liaising with highstreet accounts
  • Any other adhoc tasks needed to support the team


The role will suit an ambitious, commercially minded designer with a trend driven portfolio, with previous work experience at a high-street supplier or high street retailer, within the field of true knit.

As a temp you will receive a competitive salary rate that is paid on a weekly basis as well as paid holiday and the opportunity to join a pension scheme.
