Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate programmes, track performance metrics, and provide insights on key objectives that impact deliverables
  • Utilize data to address operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to identify and apply best practices
  • Lead a cross-disciplinary team within a programme environment to overcome obstacles and drive progress
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, establishing defined standards

A Day in the Life:

As a Programme Manager, your role involves planning, executing, and enhancing initiatives to ensure the efficiency of our operations. You will closely collaborate with diverse Amazon colleagues to understand their processes, share expertise, and identify new opportunities for improvement.

You will guide and assist your teams in meeting crucial deliverables, actively seeking data-backed strategies for enhancement. Your contributions will be pivotal to your team's accomplishments.


About the Team:

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is essential to Amazon's operational speed. Joining ATS means being part of a diverse team pivotal to our success, optimizing Amazon's transportation operations across air, sea, and road, along with advanced sortation centers.

We prioritize safety and leverage our team's expertise to ensure timely package deliveries.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in leading cross-functional people-facing programmes or projects with project-management methodologies
  • Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Experience managing complex projects involving various stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced or master's degree
  • Project-management certification like PRINCE2 or APM
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
  • Experience in operational environments or with technical teams
  • Experience with IT software/hardware
  • Experience in HGV Fleet equipment
  • Experience in recruitment processes
