We are looking for a Practice Accountant to join a well-established accountancy practice located in Warrington on a part-time basis.

This part-time role, based in an office, offers a competitive salary ranging from £45k to £50k (pro rata), with flexible working hours to be discussed to accommodate the part-time nature of the position.

The selected candidate will have the chance to play a vital role in the company, embodying the firm's mission to serve as the Trusted Adviser to their clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in client migration projects to online accounting platforms, like Xero.
  • Prepare both management and financial accounts along with personal and corporation tax returns.
  • Oversee and lead a small team, ensuring exceptional technical standards and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilize a problem-solving mindset and consistently fulfill commitments.
  • Cultivate and uphold strong client relationships, conducting monthly meetings to aid in managing accounts and implementing Xero.
  • Deliver responsive, high-quality service to address client requirements effectively.

Requirements:

  • Ideally hold ACA or ACCA qualification, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in an accountancy practice, particularly in transitioning clients to online accounting platforms such as Xero.
  • Demonstrated capability in preparing financial statements and tax returns.
  • Experience in supervising or managing a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at fostering client relationships.
  • Exhibit a professional, supportive, nurturing, and amiable demeanor with both colleagues and clients.
