Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to KS2 students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Learning Assistant with a focus on SEN.
  • Extensive experience supporting KS2 students.
  • Strong understanding of SEN practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
