  • Maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Use given strategies to support pupils to achieve their learning goals.
  • Working with the teacher and other educational professionals to monitor and review student progress.
  • Communicating effectively with the student, teacher, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that the school's policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding.
  • Use positive behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policy and procedures to contribute to a purposeful learning environment.
  • Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others.
  • Upholding the school's values and ethos.
  • Attending faculty meetings.

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 2, NVQ Level 2, etc.).
  • In depth curriculum knowledge.
  • Classroom experience.
  • A minimum of two references covering six months out of the past two years.
