Here within our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) we focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system, ensuring that vulnerable asylum seekers have access to the support they need along with a high standard of accommodation. Due to significant growth within our Justice & Immigration (J & I) contract we are looking for a Site Support Manager to join the team at a new site in Lincoln, providing asylum seeker accommodation. Reporting into the Head of Operations, this is an integral role supporting the day-to-day operations delivery, holding responsibility for Inventory Asset Management, Supplier Management and providing support as required to the Operations Managers. You will play a paramount role in ensuring our residents are always supported positively, with respect and decency, whilst delivering on accountabilities such as:
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management with Supplier leads that promotes a good quality service is being delivered and any risks/opportunities are known about swiftly.
  • Ensure effective delivery of supplier services is taking place and any performance issues effectively managed and where appropriate escalate to the Head of Operations and Operations Director.
  • Inventory Asset register management with equipment to the value of over £2m
  • Budget management and effective reporting.
  • Deal with stock invoice queries.
  • Monitor stock movement.
  • Contribute to good communication practice and deal with resident requests and grievance procedure as directed.
  • Maintaining security processes and dynamics in the area of work
  • Work with the HSE Manager to ensure all COSHH storage requirements and appropriate risk assessments are in place.
  • Coordinate and lead monthly stock audit/reconciliation.
The above non exhaustive list will be clear in highlighting the variety of this role alongside the responsibility for varying aspects across the site It is essential you have experience if working in a management role and have the required budget management and financial reconciliation skills. You will be confident in managing multiples task and effectively managing stakeholders. What you'll need to do the role Minimum 2 years in a management role with clear, proven record of operational delivery. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Although site based, you may be required to travel at times therefore a valid UK driver's licence is essential and flexibility to travel when needed.
