Workforce Resilience Lead

As a Barclays Workforce Resilience Lead, you will operate within the workforce team and ensure our control standards remain relevant to identified disruption events and that the business is able to respond to those disruption events.

You will work with internal teams and business stakeholders to enhance our Workforce resilience programme for the bank, with the emphasis on automation of reporting and notification of controls responsibilities, simplification of our Work Are Recovery (WAR) sites, and oversight of Workforce activity and delivery.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the Workforce Resilience Lead (VP) on the identification and simplification of Workforce Resilience strategies for both people and premises
  • Translating complex resilience change needs into simple terms understandable at all levels of the organisation
  • Overseeing and tracking all Workforce Related activities defining automation of reporting and implementation
  • Creating communication materials for multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Monitoring and reporting Workforce Related Milestones
  • Monitoring and tracking delivery against actions along with any risks or issues
  • Maintaining and tracking various workforce metrics critical to optimize and implement workforce resilience strategies
  • Tracking how the deliverables interlock with the predetermined outcome metrics, with appropriate escalation to flag any variance in trajectory

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of stakeholder management, and ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams with excellent analysis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively cope with delivery in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of controls awareness and escalating breaches of policies and procedures appropriately

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience in Resilience, Risk & Control and/or Chief of Staff in a complex organisation
  • Prior experience of working with some Agile methodologies
  • Experience of working with large volumes of data and solid Excel skills
  • Prior experience in risk and issue management

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
