Job Description - Enterprise Data Architect

  • 12-15+ Years experience as an Architect working with Business / IT particularly using Geospatial Data Assets
  • Having worked and experienced within any industry ( Public Sector, Insurance, Travel/Transportation, Rail etc. ) where projects involved any of the following:
  • Usage of large set of spatial data across various formats such as census data, satellite imagery, weather data, cell phone data, drawn images, and social media data.
  • usage of Geospatial analytics where visualisation include maps, graphs, statistics, cartograms etc. to enable predictions
  • usage of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) – physical mapping for data related with visual representation. E.g. Hurricane map overlaid with potential areas of lightning strikes
  • You will be required to work with Business and IT stakeholders involving Geospatial initiatives/projects.
  • Manage Architecture vision and roadmap
  • Assist with exploitation of emerging technologies and industry trends in Geos patial arena
  • Design High - Level architecture products (including options, impact, Solution choices)
  • Work with a team of Architects and Engineers and operate in Peer Review Mode
