What We Are Looking For

We are in search of a General Foreperson to join our Asset Management and Technical Services team in Southampton on a permanent basis. You will oversee various construction projects, manage site operations, and lead your own team. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced squad leader to join us — you can even bring your own team onboard

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all certifications for machinery/equipment are up-to-date
  • Promptly address any defects to prevent risks
  • Keep accurate daily records
  • Complete site paperwork and maintain compliance with Method Statements
  • Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks
  • Supervise the productivity of your team
  • Manage small projects and provide progress updates
  • Identify potential additional work and support larger projects

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role with relevant certifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Knowledge of site safety practices and required qualifications
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
