Outreach Tutor Opportunity - 1:1, Sidmouth

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people without a school placement? Join Prospero Teaching as an Outreach Tutor and provide tailored 1:1 tuition to bridge educational gaps and enhance student engagement and achievement levels.

• Contract/Position Details:
• Location - Sidmouth community or pupils' home
• Position - Outreach Tutor supporting students excluded from mainstream education
• Type of work - Contract
• Duration - Until student reintegrates into a new school
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full-time/part-time - Part-time (15 hours per week per student)
• Minimum rate of pay - £27+ per hour
• Hours - Flexible based on family's availability

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent required
• UK classroom teaching experience essential
• Creativity, patience, and out-of-the-box thinking
• Experience with SEND or disengaged students preferred

To qualify as a 1:1 Outreach Tutor, you must hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one. Additionally, two professional child-related references are necessary.
