Overview:
We are seeking an friendly housekeeper for a beautiful private house in Edstone.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces
  • Changing bed linen
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Occasional shopping at the local supermarket
  • Preparation of basic meals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private house
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, cleaning methods and techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with dogs (household pets)
  • Experience with young children
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
The house is home to 5 children with the youngest being 3 years of age. Although the role is not for a nanny, experience with looking after young children would be important.


There are 2 very well behaved dogs and a tortoise The animals will need feeding as well as the occasional walk.
