Transport Administrator for our industry leading client based in the Stoke on Trent area.

Salary:
£ £28000 DOE

Working hours:
Permanent position, 40 hours pw. M - F 12 noon until 9pm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Importing local network deliveries from the consignment management software, identifying excess volumes, and informing both the Network Manager and General Haulage team to correctly resource vehicles and subcontractors.
  • Manage the import and export of consignments into/ out off the network system.
  • Collate delivery paperwork.
  • Producing delivery manifests and customer paperwork for the general haulage fleet.
  • Effectively communicating with the pallet network regarding network queries.
  • Assisting in the debriefing of drivers, ensuring that manifests are checked for accuracy.
  • Producing and scanning trunk and docket labels onto the network system.
  • Docketing trunk paperwork, identifying missing paperwork and raising the appropriate service exception for the customer support team.

Key Skills:

  • Experience within a similar role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Good team player with the ability to work with autonomy.
