What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- _Drive quality standards across category and wider BU _
- _Make recommendations/Input into Sourcing Strategy with knowledge of supply base manufacturing capabilities, supporting tender negotiations to ensure quality parameters are being met._
- _Manage own brand product compliance to by keeping up to date with technical, safety and legal requirements on existing product categories and setting these standards for new product categories _
- _In the event of quality failure in the UK manage and co-ordinate with UK Offices, Supply Base, Agents and Sourcing Office colleagues to resolve quickly_
- _Own technical product information in PLM system by delivering clear specifications on Tech packs working closely with design and buying_
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- _Expert in the field of technology including manufacturing of product including fabric / raw materials _
- _Significant experience driving product initiatives and technical standards _
- _Capable of interpreting customer data (CIU, Bazaar Voice, QPI's, Customer RTMs) to shape future product development strategy_
- _Experience of briefing and specifying direct design sourced product, working with Buying and Design teams to create Tech Packs_
- _Passionate about product and driving innovation and newness _
