A great opportunity has come up to be part of the team at UK Finance Operations, taking on the role of a Quality Technician.
You will be in charge of coordinating and upholding the Quality Assurance Framework by overseeing assurance activities on our offshore Quality Assurance teams.
Many of our team members work flexibly in various ways, such as part-time, flexible hours, job sharing, working from home partially, or compressed hours.
This is because we aim to have the most skilled individuals in our positions and understand that sometimes these individuals may not be available full-time.
Implementing an operational quality framework within Finance Operations, including assurance methods, monitoring goals, and feedback for all our business partners.
Assess, evaluate, and report on the process quality aligning with the Quality framework and contractual obligations.
Conduct oversight testing following the Controls framework, striving to address any required action plans and enhance overall performance.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and governance standards throughout the audit review process to ensure compliance with data protection rules and regulations.
Contribute to establishing and measuring success against the Assurance framework, proving that Quality Assurance efforts meet defined targets or implements the necessary measures.
Guide and train individuals (onshore and offshore) to enhance process quality, advocating root cause analysis and action planning for improvements.
Deliver quality enhancements that benefit all stakeholders.
Propose and develop technical initiatives to enhance processes, devise policies, and foster innovation by consulting with leaders and executives to enhance business efficiency and provide a customer-centric service.
Work closely with senior management to ensure immediate awareness of any crucial issues identified during the audit process.
Demonstrated skills in coaching and training others to enhance performance.
Utilize analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to validate quality reviews and conduct root cause analyses.
Proficiency in Excel and Power Tools is crucial
