An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Cook to join our teamResponsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and development in line with Setting the Table guidance for Early Years
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations including allergen and dietary needs are catered for and met at all times
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Salary:
£10.90 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
