Teaching Personnel are recruiting fully qualified teachers with extensive experience supporting children with SEN. This brand new school located in Islington caters for students with SEMH and mild learning difficulties. Many of their students are fully capableto learn but need the encouragement and emotional support to do so. Located in the heart of London, the school has multiple transport links. It is a very short walk away from Russel Square station. If you live near a station on the Piccadilly line, this willbe a very easy commute.

This is a Special School for pupils aged from , which Is opening in 2023. It serves families and pupils in the London Borough of Islington.

Pupils are admitted within the following categories of special needs:

  • Social and emotional mental health needs (SEMH)
  • Mild learning difficulties (MLD)

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals who:

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status
  • Preferably has experience of working with pupils with special educational needs or a proven interest in teaching pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties.
  • Has experience of, or is able to demonstrate the ability to differentiate curriculum delivery for pupils
  • Has a demonstrable skill to implement individualised goals and objectives to address the core features of SEN, based on individual strengths and identified needs
  • Is able to work as a member of a team as well as an ability to lead
  • Is committed to their own professional development.
  • Has effective personal organisation, communication and ICT skills.
  • Has a proven record of good to outstanding practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
