Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin's attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Video & Content Producer to join our Global Corporate Communications team on a permanent basis.

This role will be based at our London Cluster Office at County Hall with a salary of up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience.


Reporting into the Global Director of Corporate Communications, you will create high-quality videos for Merlin that will be shared on multiple digital platforms.

This independent role involves capturing and producing engaging content, both planned and spontaneous, with plenty of travel opportunities.

You must have extensive video production experience, be passionate and creative, and have the ability to tell compelling stories through video.

Your work will support Merlin's communication strategy, and you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders to produce captivating videos that build brand awareness.

Whether you're creating pre-planned storyboards or capturing content on-the-go, you'll bring your creativity to life and produce dynamic videos that engage audiences across multiple platforms, with a particular focus on digital and social media platforms.


About You...

  • Experience of working in a commercial video environment is desirable, along with experience of shooting in a oneperson crew situation
  • Experienced in using professional video cameras and a thorough working knowledge of editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects) is essential, you'll also need expert understanding of video formats and delivery methods
  • Animation experience is a bonus
  • An understanding of social media platforms is crucial, in particular how to package video content for different platforms; knowledge of optimum packaging specs for each platform is desirable
  • Good project manager and familiarity in working with senior stakeholders, third parties and agencies
  • Ability to be able to interact and collaborate with senior management
  • Motivated, selfstarter able to operate independently
  • A keen eye for detail / an understanding of branding and tone of voice
  • Able and willing to work occasional weekends when the business requires
