Role Overview:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting intricate data sets to support business strategies and decision-making processes.

You will utilize your expertise in Python, R, or JavaScript to develop insightful analyses and contribute to enhancing our data infrastructure.


Data Extraction and Analysis:
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights driving business decisions.
  • Utilize Python, R, or JavaScript to create and maintain analytical tools and models.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and visualizations to convey findings to stakeholders and senior management.

Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements and provide data solutions.

Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor and assess the performance of current data models and tools, suggesting enhancements when necessary.

Data Quality:
  • Ensure data precision and uniformity through rigorous validation and quality control processes.

Ad Hoc Analysis:
  • Carry out ad hoc analysis to support various business initiatives and projects.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Master's degree is a bonus.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years as a Data Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or JavaScript for data analysis and tool development.
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
