We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced payroll professional to support our UK and EU operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for payroll processing, payroll audits, system updates, document/file review, and verification that is required.


This is a key role based in our Antrim payroll team supporting a large manufacturing and R&D base of employees across our EU sites.

General Responsibilities

  • Key participant in processing the payroll with speed and accuracy
  • Audits employee record and reconciles totals by department / location / country etc.
  • Ensures appropriate amounts or deductions are calculated and applied to any necessary amounts
  • Key participant in the verification of compliance to all local, state, and federal policies / laws and requirements
  • Collaborates on any internal audits, workers compensation situations, tax filing and other related documentation
  • Participates in specialized tasks or activities such as stock option exercises, SEC document filing, or sales commission calculation reviews
Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds selfaccountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the relations with external payroll provider
  • Collect and report monthly payroll data observing the local legislation, company policies and procedures
  • Address payroll queries raised by the employees
  • Support payroll integration of acquired companies
Specific Experience/Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of multi jurisdiction payroll support within EU countries
  • Able to use Payroll Software with accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of Payroll Legislation
  • Good understanding of processing both Government and Company Pension Schemes and administering the monthly submissions
Desirable Criteria

  • Payroll Experience gained in an enterprise sized business
