The role is a full-time position working within a secondary school located in Peterborough

We are seeking outstanding qualified English Teachers to work on a full-time contract who have experience teaching KS3/KS4 English up to GCSE.

The English teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering the highest-quality lessons and achieving excellent results for their higher-level ability students whilst also motivating students currently under achieving at lower levels.

The pupils you will be teaching have a variety of ability so you will be expected to make lessons challenging and engaging for all pupils.

In this role you will be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 up to GCSE English.

The school are looking for a well-rounded English Teacher who can be adaptable and ensure the whole classroom is engaged in lessons, so you will be expected to display excellent classroom management skills and be confident managing challenging behaviour.

Requirements
English Teacher Key Stage 3-4
Minimum of 2 years relevant UK Classroom teaching experience / NQTs are encouraged to apply
