We are looking for new goods in operatives to help contribute to the day-to-day warehouse activities, and Magic Madhouse's overall company strategy.

This is a physically demanding and hands on role that requires great attention to detail.

It is not necessary to have warehouse experience, you just need to be willing to learn, work with the team to unload incoming deliveries, and organise the stock in both the pallet aisles and picking bays.

The Goods In team operate on a weekly shift pattern with increased hours during key product releases. These increased hours result in overtime shifts to help with trading card game releases.

Your duties:

  • Receive incoming deliveries.
  • Unload incoming deliveries.
  • Organise stock in the Goods In overflow area.
  • Organise and replenish stock in the picking bays for the packers.
  • Report any damage/faults with incoming shipments or products with your linemanager.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work environment for staff to work in.
  • Support the business growth by taking on any additional responsibility necessary, within your skillset, to meet the set objectives of the business.

Skills and able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, this is especially important so you can easily organise and replenish stock.
  • A great attention to detail is a must, it can be challenging identifying some products at pace with very similar names.
  • Simple planning and organisation skills while using your own initiative.
  • Ability to undertake physical tasks within health and safety guidelines, to safely and efficiently move and handle products.
  • Flexible and adaptable, you may be asked to switch between receiving and replenishment on any given day.
We are looking for multiple staff to work 5-days a week as part of a 7-day week rota. Therefore this may or may not include a weekend day.

Overtime opportunities will be available.

Salary:
£20,176.00 per year
