Kitchen Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about food and eager to learn. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the culinary industry.

Duties:

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas
  • Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients
  • Help with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
  • Assist in setting up and organizing food stations for meal service
  • Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed
  • Assist chef and be able to take directions
  • Sweeping, mopping, emptying rubbish bins, and completing opening/closing procedures
  • Physically fit and able to stand and move around for entire shifts

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, even under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately with time management
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
