    on a permanent basis to join our growing Upholstery team in Portadown. The post holder will work across all aspects of production operations, ensuring that deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
  • Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how work flow could be improved
  • Escalate issues to line management as required
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Essential

  • Experience in a production environment
  • Pass in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and team working skills
  • High regard for Health and Safety
  • Demonstrable ability to use variety of hand tools

Desirable

  • Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP
  • Metal work experience
