At René House CIC, we provide supported accommodation to adults and families who are homeless/at risk of homelessness in the Nottingham area.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We manage multiple properties across Nottinghamshire and we are looking for a Domestic Cleaner to join our property maintenance team.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a high standard of housing for our residents, you will share the responsibility in ensuring our properties are kept clean and safe for our residents to live comfortably.
- Main duties of the Domestic Cleaner include:
- To carry out all bi-weekly and monthly cleans within the communal areas of our shared properties
- To carry out end of tenancy and adhoc cleans
- To work alongside the property maintenance team to ensure voids are cleaned and the turn around of rooms/properties are dealt with in a timely manner
- To help keep stock of cleaning items and laundry items within our storage unit
- To carry out safe use of cleaning products and equipment
This role involves travelling in between our properties and carrying cleaning items. A full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is vital to the role. Mileage reimbursed.

ABOUT YOU:

Required skills/experience:
- Knowledge of cleaning/hygiene COSSH procedures
- Experience cleaning in a domestic environment including knowledge of cleaning procedures and processes
- Effective communication skills
- Experience of managing own diary
- Confidence to work independently
- Great organisational skills
LOCATION:
Our properties are located across Nottinghamshire - within the city and in the county.
This role requires you to travel between properties and carry cleaning products, you will be required to have a
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.

HOURS:
This role is 16 hours a week, with the possible scope of increased hours as the organisation grows.
The hours are flexible between Monday and Friday, you will have some autonomy over how your day looks and be able to plan your day as long as it suits the needs of the organisation.
