Role Overview:
The Senior Designer will play a pivotal role in the creative process, driving the development of design concepts and overseeing their execution across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will possess a robust portfolio showcasing their expertise and creativity, and will be adept at leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ideation, creation, and development of high-quality design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and other team members to understand project goals, gather requirements, and present design solutions.
- Develop comprehensive design concepts, mockups, and prototypes for client presentations and approvals.
- Maintain and uphold the highest standards of design excellence and consistency across all projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the agency's design offerings at the forefront of the industry.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and enhance user experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally within a design agency or similar setting.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and other relevant tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of brand design styles and projects, including digital, social, and print.
- Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles, and branding.
- Experience in UX/UI design with a solid grasp of user-centered design principles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
