Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided.


Part of your role will include helping the kitchen team with the prep for a day, making the salads, scones, sandwiches that are sold in our bakery and Café.


Working days may vary according to business need but as we are open 7 days a week and a share of the weekends will very much be a part of it.


your duties will include:

  • Preparing and serving delicious hot and cold drinks such as barista coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
  • Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
  • Cleaning service and seating areas
  • Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
  • Serving customers and taking orders using an EPOS till system
  • Receiving and processing customer payments
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Must have great sense of humour and be able to work under pressure
  • Maintaining accurate records i.e. Fridge temperatures, cleaning records etc as appropriate.
  • Preparation as required throughout the day & for the following day.
  • Other jobs as directed by Café Leader/Assistant Leader.
  • Closing down jobs at end of day
In view of our location - the ability to drive and access to transport would be beneficial.
