Air Testing - Project Co-ordinator

Main purpose of the role
Co-ordinating works within the Air Tightness Operations Department.

Responsible for smooth running of day to day operations, working within a team to support the scheduling and booking in of works on to the Engineers Diary.

Assignment of project work, client liaison and reporting to management.
Dissemination of information to all relevant parties, confirming works are arranged.
Actively following up on customers & requirements, when repeat works are required and re-booking works.
Additional support will be provided to sales team, account management and other operational needs within the business.

Salary:
£21,000, uplifting to £23,000 upon successfully passing probation.


Key tasks

  • Schedule air testing works in accordance with customer requirements and operating procedures to ensure efficient delivery of services and utilisation of national fieldbased technician workforce.
  • Resolve operational issues and challenges effectively to minimise delays, technician downtime and meet customer requirements. Example issues could relate to staffing, availability, equipment and lastminute changes to customer requirements.
  • Ensure all technician scheduling and planning is correctly entered into our computer management system by the team, to ensure accurate records management, compliance with regulations and billing.
  • Ensuring prompt management of customer complaints or concerns.
  • Tracking of project completion.
  • Reporting of progress to clients/customers when required.
  • Ensuring all works are followed up to ensure the sales order is fulfilled.
  • Understanding envelope calculations and the equipment required to carry out the air test, full training to be provided.
  • Develop a good knowledge and understanding of the services that Stroma can provide.
  • To ensure customer satisfaction through all interactions.
  • To ensure that you work and comply within the personal responsibilities detailed in the current Health and Safety legislation and to assist in the company quality objectives of no accidents.
  • Carry out any other ad hoc duties as required commensurate with the role.

Qualifications, experience and abilities required

ESSESNTIAL SKILLS:

  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Previous experience in an administrative/operational role.
  • Previous experience in a customer services or client focused role.
  • Ability to perform well in a busy and time focused environment.
  • Ability to learn new business systems and processes.

DESIRABLE:

  • Geographical and logístical awareness.
  • Knowledge or previous experience of working in a consultancy business sector & energy, construction or property related services ideal.
  • Understanding / Using Microsoft Dynamics
