This role is a multi-drop delivery driver role and the person will be responsible for delivering company products to the customer in a safe and timely manner.
You'll be a representative of the company and be one of the first point of contacts for our customers, so a high standard of customer care must be maintained at all times.
This role will require an induction week in Stoke-on-Trent. We will arrange accommodation.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
nTo abide by all company guidelines and MHRA requirements in relation to the delivery of company productsnDeliver goods accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with daily driving schedules to registered premises only obtaining proof of delivery at all manned premises.nSort goods on arrival at depot into route order and then load in correct delivery sequence onto vans.
Support colleagues in the sortation and loading of vans where required.nCarry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle roadworthiness.nRecord and report all vehicle defects in a timely manner Inc.
nil defects.nMeet all legal requirements of the use of the highways.Comply with all EU, Domestic and WTD rules.nRecord and report all damages in accordance with company policy.nAdheres to all company guidance and instructions in relation to the delivery and return of goods supplied by the company via the depot.nMaintain the highest standards of cleanliness with company vehicles to project a professional image.nAdhere to company standards regarding work wear and PPE.nCorrectly use all equipment supplied and maintain in a good condition.nReport any faults or issues with equipment in a timely manner e.g., Sack Truck, Nomad Boxes, Temperature Recording Equipment, PPE etc.nTake all reasonable precautions to safeguard the vehicle and its contents ensuring vehicles are locked when unattended.nOnly allow as passenger's associates of the company or persons authorised by the company.nMaintain strong links with both the Transport and Customer Service Departments.nRemain contactable, when at work, by ensuring the company provided phone is on and connected to 'Bluetooth'.nBe flexible and react positively to changes within the business.nMaintain accurate records of daily activities and ensure start times are adhered to.nFollow company procedure for times of absence.nEnsure both Domestic, EU and WTD regulations are adhered to.nUnderstand and comply with job relevant, Companies Practice Standards at all times.nUnderstand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriate.

Experience, skills and knowledge requirements:
Drive like a professional – Good driving record and appropriate license for the rolenMaintaining concentration – Must be able to stay focused when driving and training for long periods.nQuality communication – There is a great deal of paperwork involved in training and driving.
Accurate and comprehensive record keeping is essential.nCustomer care – The role requires you are not only the face of the business but of the department.
