We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cooking to join our Catering team at LittleInch Ltd which provides a full range of catering services to residents, staff, and day-care service users.


Hours of Work:
16 hours over two days. More hours available.


Working as part of the Catering Team, you will play an important role in the delivery of a full range of catering services.


Main Duties:
Reporting to the Chef, you're duties will include but not limited to:

  • Preparing 'food' to a high standard in accordance with LittleInch requirements and in line with food safety standards
  • Have good knowledge of HACCP, COSSH & Allergen Policies
  • Assisting Elderly and vulnerable residents.
  • Provision of a friendly and efficient food service to customers
  • Stock replenishment as required
  • Be creative for functions and events
  • Cleaning both basic and deep cleaning
  • Adherence to food safety legislation
  • Undertake Training as required to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation
  • Any other duties as deemed reasonable and necessary by your line manager.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience of working as a cook is essential
  • Food hygiene Certificate Level
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
  • Willingness to undertake training and development in line with department requirements and in line with Food Safety legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
