Community Peer Recovery Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Full Time fixed term AFC Band 3, Peer Recovery Worker within the East Ayrshire Community Addiction Team.

These posts have are fixed term for 2 years. You will be based in Rothesay House, Cumnock and Lister Street and will be flexible to work evenings.


You will work in accordance with the key recovery principles and provide peer support to people with drug and alcohol issues.

They will be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have an understanding of the impact of alcohol or drug misuse on individuals, families and communities.

They should have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and promote continuing personal development.
