Where in the world of OVO will I be working?


This role sits in the quality assurance team within OVO Energy Solutions, where we install energy efficiency measures in domestic properties through commercial contracts secured with social housing providers and other partnerships.

hese contracts cover the installation of external wall insulation, central heating systems and renewable energy solutions alongside associated works.

What will I be doing?

Key responsibilities include:
Take the lead and be the key contact for:

Funding requirements - Monitor the industry for new funding schemes and maintain knowledge and understanding of all energy efficiency funding schemes in line with business objectives and strategy.


Legislative/Regulatory requirements - Understand the legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to the business and maintain a register of requirements and business activities in place to meet requirements.

Liaison with OVO Legal & Risk Teams will be required.

Business Accreditations - Support the Assurance team with maintaining accreditations in line with business objectives and strategy.

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you will have:

  • Industry knowledge and experience relating to energy efficiency funding schemes.
  • Knowledge and experience of the installation of energy efficiency measures, particularly External Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Underfloor Insulation, Boilers, and Heating Controls & renewables.
  • Good understanding and experience of regulatory/legal requirements relating to the installation of energy efficiency measures.
  • Knowledge and experience of the installation of energy efficiency measures and associated regulatory and legal requirements, particularly the Energy Company Obligation and PAS 2030.
  • Experience in reviewing and analysing processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High standard of skills and experience in effective problem solving.
  • Experience of building strong networks and managing third party relationships.
  • Experience in completing quality checks/audits
  • Strong IT skills specifically in spreadsheets with ability to create reporting and conduct trend analysis.
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of team
  • Attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated and assertive
