Role Overview: As a Senior Account Executive - Mid Market, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new business within the mid-market segment. You will be responsible for achieving an annual quota of $500-700k ARR and closing deals ranging from $40k to $150k. This role is focused on hunting new business opportunities and engaging with multiple levels of C-level executives throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and prioritize target accounts within the mid-market segment, leveraging market research and prospecting techniques to uncover new opportunities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to engage prospects and drive revenue growth.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, effectively navigating through multiple decision-makers and stakeholders. Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and position our solutions as value-driven propositions.
- Revenue Attainment: Meet or exceed annual quota targets by consistently closing deals within the specified range of $40k to $150k ARR. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to ensure quota achievement and revenue predictability.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers within target accounts. Engage proactively with prospects to understand their business challenges and articulate the value proposition of our solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales development, marketing, product, and customer success, to drive successful sales engagements and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in a sales hunting role, with experience exceeding revenue targets in the mid-market segment.
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and the ability to navigate through multiple levels of decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving tangible business outcomes.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions or technology products is preferred.
