The main duties of the role are as followed:

  • Leading the technical aspects of payroll processing.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Developing and implementing payroll systems and processes.
  • Providing technical support and training to payroll team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving payroll-related issues.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the payroll function.

Profile

A successful Payroll Technical Lead should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations relating to payroll.
